We hire students and recent graduates to make tangible and significant contributions to the team. Our intern, co-op and entry-level programs provide an opportunity to learn about quantitative investment management through combining theory, practice and technology.
Students
Our 10-week summer internship program combines theory and practice, and provides significant insights into quantitative investment management. Interns will be immersed within their teams, working side-by-side with members of the group. The high impact program offers the opportunity for interns to present to senior leaders within their department. Interns will have a dedicated manager and mentor to provide guidance and support and receive real-time feedback. Interns will work on projects that may involve accounting, business, finance, statistics, applied math, optimization theory and computer programming.

Our co-op program provides an exciting opportunity to learn about investment management while gaining deep experience within a specific function. Co-ops are highly valued members of the team and participate in team meetings, perform business-critical work and receive real-time, balanced feedback.
The co-op program is a six-month program designed for current students across a wide variety of functions. Students participating in our co-op program will do major-related work within the guidelines of their academic program and be introduced to a wide range of technologies, systems and processes critical to the firm’s success.
Entry-level Programs
We offer a robust rotational program within our Information Technology department aimed at providing a successful start to a career in software development in the Financial Services industry. The Technology Rotational Program is an 18-month program designed for recent graduates that consists of three rotations with various technology teams. These rotations provide the employee with the opportunity to develop a valuable understanding of financial data sourcing, trade reporting and settlement processes along with general software design, development and deployment practices. Participants will gain exposure to cloud computing and big data analytics. Rotational program employees will be introduced to modern technologies to develop scalable systems that impact our systematic investment management process.
Our two-year rotational program is for college graduates who are looking to jump start a career in the Financial Services industry. The Investment Services Group rotational program will provide recent college graduates with the opportunity to gain robust experience and broad exposure to the investment management industry, our systematic and highly automated investment process, the equity, FX and futures trade lifecycle and portfolio holdings issues and challenges. This program will prepare program participants well for a fulfilling career at Arrowstreet Capital while facilitating opportunities to develop personally and professionally, broaden skills, experiences, and professional networks.
We seek to hire recent college graduates who are looking to begin their career as a quant researcher or quant developer. We are a collaborative, data-driven, intellectually rigorous team responsible for coming up with investment ideas, codifying those ideas into signals, back-testing the signals, and producing return, risk and trading cost forecasts based on the signals to drive trading decisions.
- As a Quantitative Researcher, you will work on high-impact projects that improve the specification and/or implementation of our investment models as well as research projects that improve portfolio construction decisions in our fully integrated, unified systematic investment process.
- As a Quantitative Developer, you will help build our next-generation Research data platform leveraging open-source, cloud and distributed computing technologies. You will work on high-impact projects that are quickly adopted and drive change across the team.
